What I Wore: Cold day in Kobe, Japan.
Happy Tuesday girls! It's getting cold in Japan day by day, and it's perfect weather to layer up! I love winter outfits, because you can layer as much as you'd like. Here, I am wearing a zig zag maxi dress that is typically worn in the summer, but if you dress it right, it can be a life saver for Hijabis for that last minute plan all year long! I love short jackets, as they don't take over the whole outfit like long coats (not to mention how warm they keep you ;) ).
Layering a patterned maxi dress can be tricky, but keeping other things such as jeans, outerwear, bags, shoes and scarves in solid tones without any pattern will most definitely cut the risk of looking like you have too much going on.
I was feeling extra fancy, so I wore heels. You can change it up into a comfy and casual outfit by wearing loafers, or booties with thick heels! Although these pumps are by far the comfiest ones I own! I guess it depends on the length of the heel, and these are not that tall.
That's it loves!
Also, I am having a $150 Visa Gift card giveaway, that will end and I will announce the winner on my Instagram on January 12th, 2PM Eastern Time. (I have extended the giveaway because of so many entries rolling in last minute). So, don't forget to enter if you haven't already. Check HERE to learn how to enter.
See you soon. :)
