What I Wore: Eid-ul-Adha 2016
Eid Mubarak everyone! Since the last what I wore post was such a hit, I assume you guys like to see more posts like this. :) So, this post is about what I wore on Eid-ul-Adha 2016. This gorgeous gown. Everything about this gown is just elegant. The color, work that it has and even its silhouette!
Fabric is net, and work done with pink bugle beads and silver thread. It has a slight tail at the back. I think what makes a gown standout is if it is made to measure, custom to one's body. This gown was quite loose for me, but I still rocked it xD
Pearl Jhumki Set from my mom. The rings: Chunky middle gold one has an interchangeable center stone, and halo of Swarovski crystals. The ring finger one is (you guessed it) from my husband.
I wore this cute little clutch that just completed the whole outfit <3
Finished it off with these super chic pumps that I won't ever stop loving. Got them from Zara.
It was amazingly gorgeous and I got a lot of compliments, but I would say, I am not really the one to wear heavy outfits. It felt so refreshing after a long day at the mosque to just change into some ghar-ke-kapre (home clothes) after I got back and just relax! :D And yes, I wore the gown to the mosque because people from various cultures come there and dress traditionally for Eid prayer and get together to celebrate.
